Chicken Pot Pie

This is delicious, and as easy as you want it to be!

1/2 c. chopped onion or 1 T. dehydrated onion
6 T. butter or margerine
1/2 c. flour
3 c. chicken broth or 3 chicken boullion cubes and 3 c. water
3 c. cubed cooked chicken (canned could also work, just be careful when stirring).
1-2 15 oz. cans veg-all,drained(mixed veggies)
1 pillsbury refrigerated crust

Saute onion in butter. Add flour, stir and then add broth and whisk it. Add chicken and vegetbables. Pour into pie pan and cover with pastry. Fold under and seal edges with fork or fingers. Make a slit in the top so the air can escape. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown at 350. I am ready to eat this again!

You can put pastry on the bottom of the pan too if you would like. It is good both ways. If you do put it on the bottom you need to put your oven rack on the lowest notch and bake it there for 20 min utes and then move it to the middle rack for the remaining time.
