Whitley and Mr. Fosberg, her band teacher. He is wonderful! She has played the trumpet with him since 6th grade. This year she tried out for Jazz band and made it! (Someday she will thank me) She has been challenged and is becoming an even better trumpeteer! I don't think that is a word but it sounded good to me. She played Taps with her friend Andrew in the Veteran's Day assembly. He "called" to Whitley across the gym and she would echo his call. We have enjoyed going to her concerts. She is becoming quite the lady...
Preston and his teacher Mrs. Lock. He has had 2 teachers Mrs. Porter and Mrs. Lock, called the Polo team. They have been great in helping to instill in him the love of writing. He loves to play the piano and many times I have to pry him away to do other things. We recently went to the Jon Schmidt Concert with Sherdon, Lani and their older kids. It was very entertaining! He also had his friend the cellist there which was amazing too! Preston is trying out the violin this year. We will see where he goes with it....
Here he is after a skit he was in last year at school. He loves to act and is quite fun to watch! One of his favorite people to impersonate is Granny off of the show, The Beverly Hillbilly's. He is a cheese!

Glad she's doing so well in band! Preston is definitly a Character! Hope violin goes well!
That last picture is funny...the way that Preston is posing so nicely while everyone else blurs around him. Really cool!
