Porter's highlights: Testimony meeting and talking with Silvan about mechanics. He also liked talking with a guy named Zach that was preparing to go on his mission about favorite scripture stories. He loved hanging with all his friends.
Whitley highlights: The woman's pull. The guys were not able to push or pull the handcart at all up a hill. After pulling for a few minutes the guys started to take out the buckets that were in the handcart. They felt like they were angels. It was really hard and there were many tears shed. She also loved sleeping under the handcart like they did on the trail. She enjoyed working with her family and singing as they went along. She carried Christypitts, the baby the whole way. She was a bag of flour with a face drawn on it. :)
What an experience! I am so glad they were able to go......
